I've finally gone through and added the onMouseover attribute to every single a href tag that is on the entire site. I've also fixed up a few things in the chat file and the MP3 options page. I'll try and keep on making frequent updates, but as another school year looms before me, I am getting busier and busier each day. The company newsletter will be coming out tomorrow, good night/morning.

Hmm....I just had an idea. From now on, I'm going to write tags with out the <> or () characters and just write it in colors. Javascript will be this color and HTML will be this color. On the update side of things, I uploaded an HTML version of my playlist. Click here to see it. On request, I will upload any of these songs. Besides that, I'm switching all links on the page to include the onMouseover attribute. Nothing else big for now.

I have done a few things with the main page, both frames, so take a look and check out the new stuff. I will soon be loading up the contract for the publishing house. Well, now that I've layed down the iron fist, I can get to some business. Firstly, I've created the MP3 Options page, so that those who listen to MP3s may get them and still be happy. I've also created a submit form for that situation. Sean, unfortunately for him, has been demoted to Web Designer from Senior Web Designer as I have not heard from him in 3 weeks, and he has made no updates to the page. Whatever he's doing, best of luck to him. And by the way, the MIDI for this page has been removed to noscript.html. Off to bed for me. Ciao,

As John mentioned, I started on the Band List page. I only layed out the infrastructure and color scheme for him, he made the content. Also, Jay uploaded the new AlienResources banner, which I have put on several pages(files: ar.html; mc.html; wdesign.html; phscp.html). More tweaking today. The colors for all the employment have been changed again. The background was changed to dark blue(files: employee.html; all position files). Tweaking was the name of the game with this update. I have modified the titles of our employees. Our Part-time Web Designers are those who only work on external sites. John has graduated to a Web Designer, giving him full access to the AlienResources.com database and server. Jay has self-demoted himself to JavaScript specialist and graphics specialist and designer. I have changed the color schemes in the employee info and position pages too(files: employee.html; ptemplate.html; vpm.html; wd.html; jwd.html; ppr.html). Buh bye,

The first item on my agenda is done, but I've also made a number of other changes. The first major change was adding four more links to the left frame, and toying around with the positioning of that until the whole site was better(files:frame1.html;index.html). I also added a tad bit more to the opening statement on the main page (files:ar.html). Finally, I went through and made sure all links to the homepage were present and if they weren't or they were nonexistent, that was corrected (files:phscp.html; submitform.html). When Jay gets on, he'll try and get that Perl program written. Ta ta for now,

Improvements in large proportions were the focus of my second update. In the company's search for new employees, I made a template and five pages from this template that give information on any given position open at AlienResources.com. I also incorporated these pages into the main Employee Info page and added another position, Junior Web Designer, to be available to the public(files:employee.html; ptemplate.html; vpm.html; ppr.html; wd.html; jwd.html; awm.html). For the final tweaking, I gave Sean's PHSCP site another look, found more errors(how do you do it, Sean?) and corrected them(files:phscp.html). Started this evenings update session by removing a few excess words from the mINDLESS Conception site(files:mc.html). Next I went and corrected Sean's grammar and spelling mistakes from the PHSCP page(files:phscp.html). And finally, I changed our opening statement on the main page(files:ar.html). Unfortunately, I haven't been able to make a Perl program that will get our employee submit form up and running. So until then, e-mail me, Jay or Kurt to apply for a position. Also, I would like to pave the way for some new software we have attained that will greatly improve the quality of our site and the efficiency of our code-writing. 7/11/00 10:41 PM CDT -- News Update from the AlienResources Team
The next 8 days will be slow at AlienResources. The President of Web Design will be gone for a week in Europe, leaving our other two main web designers with the load of work. Also, Mike has incorporated a new policy for monthly reports for the company. He will take all the entries from the update log for that particular month and have the Board of Executives analyze them and send them to all employees and anyone else who wants the report. To get a report sent to you, e-mail Mike and put the subject as AR Newsletter to receive it. The other new policy being put into effect is that only ten entries at a time will be in this update log and the rest will be in a file called Previous Updates, so if there is something archived that we need to retrieve it is easily accessible. Mike will try to work on the site from Europe, but no guarantees. Good night,

From Sean, we have new text added to the PHSCP page(file:phscp.html). On Mike's side, I have changed all the AlienResources-related pages to a new color scheme with the links and visited links colors(files:ar.html,employee.html,frame1.html,updatelog.html). Various basic debugging and updates were the majority of the work. Jay has started writing the script for a submit form for all who wish to join us here at AlienResources(files:employee.html). With this update I basically just revised my previous work and made it so that everything on the main page(files: index.html;ar.html;frame1.html) is now operational and working, with the exception of the background images. As I can only have the image in the "content" side working now, I have decided to make both backgrounds black until I can come up with a solution to the background image problem. The other minor thing I did was add Sean to the AlienResources Employee Info page(file: employee.html). Non-site related, I have now incorporated a policy that forces employees to include what files they have updated/created and to list those employees that worked on updates at the time. We've got a lot to catch up on. Firstly, we'd like to personally welcome our newest member to the AlienResources team, Sean. He will be our creative resources president, and a junior web designer, under the tutelage of Mike. In other more site-related news, we have new background images, for both frames, although the content frame has been glitchy of late. Mike has re-written the frames, after a massive crash and as yet has not refined his "rough draft" work and if some of the links are not entirely working, feel free to e-mail him with whatever your problem may be. In addition to cleaning up the main page, we have also added a few new additions: the PHSCP link and the mINDLESS Conception link. Take a look, then tell us what you think. Talk to you later on,
